Term snapshots

What each agent’s own pages said, and in which month

Nearly every argument about shopping agents is really an argument about which version of the rules each person was reading. A dated capture ends it in one line.

What the first capture can and cannot say

The first capture is dated 2026-10. Because there is no earlier batch to compare against, no row is marked as changed — writing “the rules changed” into a first snapshot would be an invention. Later batches will show changes by comparison, which is the only way a change can be demonstrated rather than asserted.

How to read a batch

Captured

The agent’s own page stated this in that month. The wording is summarised, not paraphrased into something more confident.

Not stated

The pages read did not list it. A gap is recorded as a gap, never filled from a competitor’s terms.

Changed

The wording differs from the previous batch. This becomes possible from the second capture onwards, and it is the only row type that requires two batches to exist.

Batches

The latest batch holds 17 captured rows and 8 rows where the platform publishes nothing. Both numbers are the point: a comparison table that is full is usually full of somebody else’s wording.

Conflicts between public sources

Some questions have no clean answer, because the sources disagree. These are recorded side by side, with neither side adopted.

acbuy

Claim. A third-party guide states that this brand and its sister brand stopped operating in August 2026.

Observation. At capture the domain served its front page and current notices, including a warehouse upgrade notice and an EU parcel policy notice.

How it is recorded. Recorded as a conflict. Neither side is treated as settled, and the next monthly read is what will resolve it.

allchinabuy

Claim. A third-party guide carries the headline that it shut down in August 2026.

Observation. At capture the root domain returned a page of roughly 3.9 KB, while the English path returned HTTP 404.

How it is recorded. Unresolved. A site that answers but whose main path is missing is not evidence of either state, so the entry stays thin.

kakobuy

Claim. A widely repeated claim says three free QC photos per item, with front, back and a detail shot.

Observation. The official inspection page read for this batch states an inspection scope but no photo count.

How it is recorded. The count is not adopted. It is recorded here as a circulating claim so that later batches can show whether a published figure ever appears.
